STORIES FROM MY LIFE IN NEW YORK |
Me:
Armed with a BA in English and History from Williams College, I moved to New York January, 2012 to pursue a professional dance career. June of 2011 I realized I didn’t want to wake up one day and wonder if I could have been a professional dancer. I never feel more myself than when I am dancing and if I can make a career out of that feeling, then I owe it to myself to try. Basically, I’m living/chasing the dream… One. Day. At a time.
Blog:
While it has been important to claim my identity as a dancer, it is also important to me to be not “just a dancer”. There is more to me and to my life than just dance and dance related items. Just as I am, this blog is a work in progress. Sometimes I have a lot to share and other times I just want to let you (my reader) know what I happen to be listening to at that moment in time. So enjoy this little offering of pieces of myself. I suppose the bottom line is that since moving to New York, I have found myself in a number of new worlds that are completely separate from one another. These are their stories. Boom, boom.
